Alverson relates his experiences herding cattle and tells about the killing of Billy King in Willcox in 1895 by lawman Burt Alvord, and activities of outlaws Black Jack Christian and Sam Ketcham in the 1890s.

Cochise County rancher; Alverson came to Arizona about 1885.
